Under the shelter house, kids were able to take cardboard and use their imagination to create their own arcade games.
No explanation needed... the kids loved the bounce house!
A laser tag area and two giants hamster balls were available for entertainment.
Folks gathered to watch performances from various elementary choirs and show groups. It was a great opportunity for the kids to feel a part of an event.
Students from Gahanna Lincoln High School partnered with the Gahanna Metropolitan Library to team up in creating a story that is used by the City of Gahanna for the Story Trail at Friendship Park. The story is titled The Acorn. The story is told as you walk the trail visiting various stops along the way for each page. It was written by students in the GLHS Writer's Club and illustrated by GLHS art students. The Title page shown here was painted by Lincoln Elementary art teacher Sharon Iseringhausen.
ARTcade Day was a success. It was a unique experience that gives the Gahanna Community value.
Take care,
